Chuck Todd

Chuck Todd is the moderator of NBC’s Meet the Press, the flagship Sunday morning public affairs program and the longest-running broadcast in television history, and the host of MTP Daily on MSNBC. He is also NBC News’ political director and servers as on-air political analyst for Nightly News with Lester Holt and Today. In addition to his on-air analysis, Chuck is responsible for all aspects of the network’s political coverage. He is also the editor of First Read, NBC’s must-read guide to political news. Before joining NBC News, Chuck was the editor-in-chief of the National Journal’s The Hotline, Washington’s premier daily briefing on American politics. In his fifteen years of working at The Hotline or one of its affiliates, he became one of Washington’s foremost experts on political campaigns of all levels. Chuck has written numerous political and media essays that are frequently picked up by the Atlantic, the New York Times, and the Washington Post, and he has won several Emmy Awards for his reporting while at NBC News.
