Manu Bhagavan
Manu Bhagavan, Ph.D., is professor of history and human rights at Hunter College and the Graduate Center, the City University of New York, and Senior Fellow at the Ralph Bunche Institute for International Studies. A specialist on modern India focusing on the twentieth-century late-colonial and post-colonial periods, he has been published widely in such academic journals as Modern Asian Studies, the Journal of Asian Studies, and the Economic and Political Weekly, and regularly comments on matters related to India, foreign relations, and human rights in the New York Times and the Washington Post and on WNYC radio, CNBC, and NPR.
