William di Canzio
Currently at Drexel University, William di Canzio has taught literature and writing at Haverford College and Yale University. He has an M.F.A. from the Yale School of Drama, where he was awarded the Eugene O’Neill Scholarship in playwriting, and his plays have been staged in New York, New Haven, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and San Diego. His work has been honored with two residencies at the MacDowell Colony; in 2009, he was named MacDowell's Thornton Wilder fellow. Further honors include a residency at the Carmargo Foundation (Cassis, France), a Julie Harris Award in playwriting, a Brown Foundation Award, two fellowships from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, and three fellowships at the Eugene O’Neill Theater’s National Playwrights Conference.
